School of Christian Growth

School of Christian Growth is an on-campus teaching ministry of our church, offering diverse courses in Bible, defense of the Christian faith, outreach and practical subjects that address concerns of modern living.

A Word from Pastor Fred

Christ's mandate to the church is "make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28:18-20). Basic steps to becoming Christ's disciple are: commit yourself to the crucified and risen Christ (Acts 2:36-39), identify yourself with Christ through water baptism and church membership (Acts 2:41), grow in Christ through the practice of spiritual disciplines (Acts 2:42-47), witness for Christ worldwide (Acts 1:8). The aim of Charisma School of Christian Growth is to provide biblical teaching as one of the core disciplines for spiritual growth and maturity (Acts 2:42). SCG offers nine courses that are described in this page. Classes will be taught every Sunday, here on the church campus.

…Increase Your Confidence to Share Our Faith
“I’m not sure what to say when talking to others about Christ.” “I don’t know enough of the bible.” “What is the best way to begin a conversation with others about my faith?” “Suppose I can’t answer their questions.” If these and similar thoughts have ever held you back from talking to others about your faith in Jesus, then this is the perfect course for you. Learn through viewing DVD’s, discussion, role playing, and homework assignments. Ten lessons will help you improve your confidence and effectiveness in sharing the gospel with others.

Fundamentals for Growing Into Christlikeness
Finding His Will In Prayer
Have you ever wondered, “What should I say to God when I’m disappointed or hurt?” Or, “How can I be sure that what I’m thinking is from God?” Perhaps you would like to feel more confident that God is hearing your prayers, or at peace about Him being with you in your present circumstances. Join me in this 12 session course that will include how to pray in the face of conflict, and some essentials when praying for others. Discover how biblical characters found God’s will through prayer, and how we can have the same experiences today.
